My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- 68 [You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims. 69 “Enter Paradise you and your wives and you will be honoured guests.” 70 Golden dishes and cups will be passed among them. All that the souls may desire and that may delight their eyes will be available therein. You will live therein forever. 71 This is the Paradise which you have received as your inheritance by virtue of what you have done. 72 For you therein will be fruits in plenty whereof ye will eat. 73 Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell. 74 (The torment) will not be lightened for them, and they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair therein. 75 And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers. 76 And they shall call out: O Malik! let your Lord make an end of us. He shall say: Surely you shall tarry. 77 We have certainly brought the truth to you: but most of you have an aversion for the truth. 78 Have they determined an affair? then verily We are also determining. 79 Or deem they that We cannot hear their secret thoughts and private confidences? Nay, but Our envoys, present with them, do record. 80 Say [O Prophet]: "If the Most Gracious [truly] had a son, I would be the first to worship him!" 81 Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto Him)! 82 Leave them to their vain discoursing and horse-play till they come to meet their promised day (of reckoning). 83 for [then they will come to know that] it is He [alone] who is God in heaven and God on earth, and [that] He alone is truly wise, all-knowing. 84 And Most Auspicious is He, for Whom is the kingship of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; and only with Him is the knowledge of the Last Day; and towards Him you are to return. 85 And those whom they invoke besides Allah have no power of intercession;- only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). 86 And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? 87 [But God has full knowledge of the true believer] and of his [despairing] cry: "O my Sustainer! Verily, these are people who will not believe!" 88 But turn away from them, and say "Peace!" But soon shall they know! 89
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
