Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE and obstruct (others) from the way of God will have wasted their deeds. 1 And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition. 2 This, because they who are bent on denying the truth pursue falsehood, whereas they who have attained to faith pursue [but] the truth [that flows] from their Sustainer. In this way does God set forth unto man the parables of their true state. 3 Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds. Then, either free them by grace or ransom until war shall lay down its loads, in this way, it shall be. Had Allah willed, He would have been victorious over them; except that He might test you, the one by the means of others. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will not let their works to go astray. 4 Soon will He guide them and improve their condition, 5 and will admit them to the paradise which He has promised them. 6 O People who Believe! If you help the religion of Allah, He will help you and will stabilise you. 7 And those who disbelieve, downfall shall be theirs, and He shall send astray their works. 8 this, because they hate [the very thought of] what God has bestowed from on high and thus He causes all their deeds to come to nought! 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 This is because Allah is the Supporter of the believers, whereas the disbelievers do not have any supporter. 11
