The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 Most beneficent, ever-merciful, 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The way of those whom You have favoured, who did not incur Your wrath, who are not astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
