The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
