Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
