Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
