And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
