T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 It is a sending down from Him who has created the earth, and the high heavens, 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance: 14 The Hour of Resurrection is coming. I have willed to keep the time of its coming hidden so that everyone may be recompensed in accordance with his effort. 15 Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: 21 "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
