SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
