And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
