Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
