We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
