ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When carcans are about their necks and chains. They are dragged 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 “This is the recompense of your being happy upon falsehood in the earth, and the recompense of your conceit.” 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 We sent Messengers before thee; of some We have related to thee, and some We have not related to thee. It was not for any Messenger to bring a sign, save by God's leave. When God's command comes, justly the issue shall be decided; then the vain-doers shall be lost. 78
