[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 But [instead], he denied and turned away. 32 then he went back to his kinsfolk, elated with pride. 33 Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you! 34 Again (consider how) nearer to you and nearer. 35 Does man assume that he will be let loose? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 then he became a clot, and then Allah made it into a living body and proportioned its parts, 38 fashioning out of him the two sexes, the male and the female? 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
