Also mention in the Book (the story of) Moses: for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of Mount Sinai and drew him close for communication. 52 Out of Our mercy We gave him his brother Aaron who himself was a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book (the Quran) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet. 54 He would order his people to worship God and pay the religious tax. His Lord was pleased with him. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 except those who repent and believe and act righteously. Such shall enter Paradise and shall not be wronged at all. 60 Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall cause those of Our servants who have been God-fearing to inherit. 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
