Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
