Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
