The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
