If they belie you, say: 'I have my work, you have your work. You are quit of what I do, and I am quit of what you do' 41 And among them are some who listen to you; so will you make the deaf hear even if they do not have any sense? 42 And among them are some who look at thee: but canst thou guide the blind,- even though they will not see? 43 Indeed Allah does not oppress men at all, but they do wrong themselves. 44 And on the day when He shall gather them together, (when it will seem) as though they had tarried but an hour of the day, recognising one another, those will verily have perished who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided. 45 And whether We shew thee some of that which We have promised them, or We cause thee to die, unto us is their return, and Allah is witness of that which they do. 46 Every nation has a messenger. Once their messenger has come, judgement will be passed upon them in all fairness and they will not be wronged. 47 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 48 Say: 'I have no power to benefit or harm myself except as Allah wills. To every nation is a fixed term and when their term comes they cannot delay it for an hour, nor can they bring it forward. 49 Say, “What is your opinion – if His punishment comes upon you at night or during the day, so what is there in it for which the guilty are being hasty?” 50 What, when it has come to pass, will you then believe in it? Now, when already you seek to hasten it!' 51 Then the evil-doers will be told, "Taste the everlasting punishment. Have you not been rewarded according to your deeds?" 52 And they ask information of you, [O Muhammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allah]." 53
