Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
