Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
