Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, writers 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
