They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 And leave it as an empty plain, 106 Wherein thou shalt not see any crookedness or ruggedness. 107 On that Day mankind will follow strictly (the voice of) Allah's caller, no crookedness (that is without going to the right or left of that voice) will they show him (Allah's caller). And all voices will be humbled for the Most Beneficent (Allah), and nothing shall you hear but the low voice of their footsteps. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they comprehend Him not in knowledge. 110 ۞ (All) faces shall be humbled before the Living One, the Eternal. Those who are burdened with wrong doing shall have failed, 111 But he who does of righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation. 112 And thus We have sent it down, an Arabic Recitation, and have propounded variously therein of the threats, that haply they may fear, or that it may generate in them some admonition. 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 We had commanded Adam before, but he disregarded it: We found him lacking in resolution. 115
