Al-Anbyaa' 3 of 7
Have the unbelievers not ever considered that the heavens and the earth were one piece and that We tore them apart from one another. From water We have created all living things. Will they then have no faith? 30 We set firm mountains upon the earth lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein ravines to be paths so that they might be guided. 31 and We made the sky a secure canopy; and yet they turn away from these Signs. 32 It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in an orbit. 33 We have never assigned immortality to a human before you, therefore, if you yourself die, will they live for ever? 34 Every soul must taste of death, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto Us ye will be returned. 35 When the unbelievers see you they make you an object of fun, saying: "Is he the one who mentions your gods?" They say so, and yet they reject with disdain the very mention of the Most Compassionate Lord. 36 Man was created of haste. Assuredly I shall show you My signs; so demand not that I make haste. 37 They say: "When will this promise come to pass, if ye are telling the truth?" 38 If only those who disbelieve have known of the time when they shall not be able to ward off from their faces the Fire nor from their backs, nor shall they be succoured! 39 Nay, but [the Last Hour] will come upon them of a sudden, and will stupefy them: and they will be unable to avert it, and neither wilt they be allowed any respite. 40 And assuredly mocked were the apostles before thee, then there surrounded those of them who scoffed that whereat they had been mocking! 41

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
