۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
