Indeed this is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe; 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 See you not that they speak about every subject (praising others right or wrong) in their poetry? 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
