The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
