Say, "O people, if you are in doubt concerning my religion, then [know that] I do not worship those whom you worship instead of God, but rather I worship God who will cause you to die, for I am commanded to be one of the believers." 104 And [commanded], 'Direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth, and never be of those who associate others with Allah; 105 And not to invoke any other than God, who can neither help nor hurt me; for if I do, I would surely be unjust. 106 If Allah afflicts you with any hardship, none other than He can remove it; and if He wills any good for you, none can avert His bounty. He bestows good upon whomsoever of His servants He wills. He is AllForgiving, All-Merciful.' 107 Say: O people! indeed there has come to you the truth from your Lord, therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright only for the good of his own soul, and whoever goes astray, he goes astray only to the detriment of it, and I am not a custodian over you. 108 Follow what is revealed to you, [O Prophet], and be steadfast until God gives His judgement. He is the Best of Judges. 109
