We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
