Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
