Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
