The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Put He not their stratagem to straying. 2 And sent hordes of chargers flying against them, 3 Striking them with stones of Sijjil. 4 so that He made them like straw eaten (by cattle). 5
Almighty Allah's Truth.
