O you who believe! obey Allah and His Apostle and do not turn back from Him while you hear. 20 Do not be like those who say: 'We hear' but they do not listen. 21 ۞ Indeed the worst beasts in the sight of Allah are those (people) who are deaf, dumb – who do not have any sense. 22 Had Allah known of any good in them, He would indeed have made them listen, and even if He had made them listen, they would but have turned away, averse (to the truth). 23 O Ye who believe! answer Allah and the apostle when he calleth you to that which quickeneth you, and know that verily Allah interposeth between a man and his heart, and that verily unto Him ye all shall be gathered. 24 And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment. 25 And remember, when ye were few and reckoned feeble in the land, and were in fear lest men should extirpate you, how He gave you refuge, and strengthened you with His help, and made provision of good things for you, that haply ye might be thankful. 26 O you who believe! be not unfaithful to Allah and the Apostle, nor be unfaithful to your trusts while you know. 27 And know that your possessions and your children are a test, and that with Allah is immense reward. 28
