Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
