The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
