Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
