▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
