Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
