Hizb 46

And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 shall not be able to tempt anyone away from Allah 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 We glorify God." 166 And surely they used to say: 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
