And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 AND CALL to mind Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, [all of them] endowed with inner strength and vision: 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 Such is their noble story. The pious ones will certainly have the best place to return. 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 All this; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort, 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will add: "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked, 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
