۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
