And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
