The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Quake (Al-Zalzalah). Sent down in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
