The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
