And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
