Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 But how are you to know? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
