The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virginal, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
