The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 And the Mount of Sinai, 2 and this land secure! 3 We indeed created Man in the fairest stature 4 Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,- 5 Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise). 6 Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)? 7 Is not God the greatest of the judges? 8
