The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
