The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The believers have indeed attained true success: 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 pay their religious tax 4 Who abstain from sex, 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7 And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant, 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 Heirs of Paradise, they shall abide in it forever. 11 We created man from the finest extract of clay, 12 Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 We have created seven paths above you; We have never been unmindful of Our creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 And upon them and on ships you are carried. 22
